I just opened my egg carton to find a feather in it. Or more specifically, ON one of the eggs. A soft, little, downy feather.
I know where eggs come from, but I prefer to not be reminded of that when preparing a morning scramble.

I definitely check for cracked eggs. This tiny little feather was hidden - guess now I'll have to check for feathers too!
Ew, ew, ew. I'd be seriously grossed out. I hate thinking about stuff like that. I buy organic browns, and the other day my egg yoke had blood in it. So nasty.
