Honesty

I went for a haircut this week and confronted my stylist about a vicious rumor I had heard - that she was quitting hair and going to practice skin care at a spa 40 minutes from me. The equivalent of Armageddon for me.

She clarified:

K: No no.. I just want a couple of days a week out at the spa. I'll still be doing hair here in town.

Me: Whew! Thank goodness!

Then we got down to the nitty gritty of what those 'days out at the spa' were REALLY about:

K: Yeah, you know.. I still want to make sure I continue to stay really current in the [skin care & hair] biz, but also I just really want to SIT DOWN.
