Lori and I took Adriennne to see a concert in Houston for her birthday a couple of weekends ago. Adrienne has a nice recap of the deal here.
On the long walk from the car to the venue, Lori is chatting away:
L: You know, this is my first concert!
S: What!!!? The first? Didn't you see Lyle Lovett a couple times at The Backyard.
L: Oh yeah. That's right.
(a few moments later the concert talk continues)
L: This one time years ago, I remember I saw Seal...
S: So. Tonight would not be then, your first concert - nor even your second.
L: I guess you're right.
