Karl has been slowly figuring out his colors. Very slowly. For example, when you ask him what color the firetruck is, he says, "lello" (yellow). Everything.. is yellow. We're not really Nazis about it - we figure he'll get them all in time, but we do talk A LOT about colors in our house lately.
Today the Victoria's Secret Christmas catalog arrived in the mail. Karl was riveted. Being the resourceful mommy-type that I am, I used it as an opportunity to talk about, you guest it: colors.
And what do you know? By the time we got to the spread on the new Ipex line of bras and the ever-popular Miracle Bras (both of which come in an amazing range of colors, thankfully for our sake), Karl had a firm grip on his second color concept. Red.
Thank you Victoria's Secret. Firetrucks are no longer 'lello', and will forever be a deep, passionate, lusty shade of "crimson", "cherry blossom" or "lipstick" red.
